The 2003 WCARC Field Day was celebrated at the Woodford County Park football stadium. We again used the “Pink Bunny” portable tower along with the Woodford County Emergency Management portable Command Post. The tower supported an R7 multiband vertical and a 160 meter dipole antenna in an inverted V configuration and three operating positions were radios were set up in the command post. We also had a satelite antenna set up outside under the shelter. As usual, Saturday evening club members enjoyed dinner cooked on the gas grill.
